FACULTY OF MEDICINE STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

1- Achieve excellence in undergraduate medical education programs through :-

• Compliance with WFME standars,
• Implanting awell prepared and an updated program and course specifications,
• Improvement of educational infrastructure,
• Development of faculty staff to achieve excellence in teaching,
• Emphasizing evidence based medicine,
• Fostering physician scientists,and
• Empasizing student support program.

2-Achieve excellence in postgraduate medical education programs through full accreditation of all programs,and providing avery high quality training.

3-Achieve excellence in continuing medical education by offering regular workshops

4-Promote research programs and enhance the research infrastructure to achieve the mission and vision of theTanta Medical School.

5-Deliver high quality patient care particularly for rural communities in the Nile Delta region through maximum use of the combined resources of the Medical School and affiliated University Hospitals.

6- Enhance the relationship between Tanta Faculty of Medicine and, other hospitals operated by Ministry of Health and Health Insurance agent ,and provide on site training for the staff at these medical facilities.
