Program Overview

The Business Information Systems (BIS) Program is a specialized academic program that combines business and commerce knowledge with information technology. It aims to prepare graduates who are capable of utilizing technology and information systems to analyze and develop business processes, support decision-making, and provide technological solutions that meet the needs of organizations and the labor market.

Program Study System

The program follows the Credit Hour System, providing students with a flexible and well-structured academic study system.

The program is delivered in English, enabling students to effectively engage with modern references and terminology in the fields of business and information technology.

Students are awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems upon successfully completing 129 credit hours, distributed as follows:

              General University Culture Courses: 24 credit hours

              Common Business Background Courses: 54 credit hours

               Specialization Courses: 45 credit hours

               Applied Graduation Research or Project: 6 credit hours, within the field of specialization

Through this academic structure, the program provides a balanced combination of business knowledge, technological specialization, and practical application, preparing students for careers in information systems, programming, data analysis, database management, and other technology-related business fields.
