The Professional Master of Surveying and Mining Sciences Program represents a unique flexible system that copes with many graduates’ tendencies and desires. It shows their innovative capabilities and aims primarily to qualify efficient professionals who are aware of all requirements of the profession and the latest branches of sciences related to surveying and mining with all modern technologies and applications that make them outstanding professionals who can work in major mining companies .
The program introduces new aspect that is focusing on scientific and applied parts and special training in mining companies and surveying institutions during the period of study in addition to preparing an applied graduation project in fields of surveying and mining.
Program Courses
Mining geology- Mineral Exploration Methods –Advanced Surveying for Mining- Rock blasting and Mine Plans –Economic Minerals in Egypt and Arab Countries – Ore estimation-Digital Maps and GIS& Remote sensing and mineralization –Structural Geology and Mineralization –Photogrammetric and topographic Surveying –Environmental Impact and rules of mines and Quarries – Computer Applications in Surveying and Mining -Applied Project in mining and surveying – Principals of Management and international Marketing in Mining Field.
Academic Program
PMSMS is running through CREDIT HOURS SYSTEM (60 CH) per 4 semesters within two academic years, involving 12 CH per/one semester.
In addition 12 CH are required for field and lab training in mining and Surveying Authorities.
How to Apply
PMSMS is available and welcoming to graduated students who received B.Sc. (Special Geology ,Geophysics ,Chemistry- Geology Departments) BA (Geography and Surveying Departments) as well as All graduates from Faculty of Engineering with a general grade "GOOD" at least.

Study Fees
For Egyptian Students : 6000 LE per one semester
FOR Non-Egyptian Students : 5000 $ per one academic year ,plus 1500 $ Registration fees for one time .
